WHAT IS ECO-TEX® CERTIFICATION?

If a textile product carries the ÖKO-TEX® standard, you can be sure that every component of the product - every thread, button and other detail - has been tested by an independent party for harmful substances and that the product is therefore harmless to human health. The criteria for awarding the standard are updated at least once a year and expanded with new scientific knowledge or regulatory requirements.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN THAT COTTON IS ORGANIC? 

Organic cotton is grown entirely without chemical pesticides and fertilisers. The natural combination of different plants and natural fertilisers improves the soil's moisture content and allows a wide range of insects and beneficial small animals to live there.

The rules even state that genuine organic cotton cannot be grown in fields where environmentally harmful pesticides have been used in the last three years.
