Checklist: Clothes for preschool - Autumn & Spring

Autumn and Spring are wonderful seasons, but their varying weather makes some demands on preschool children's clothes. Before the start of preschool, it’s therefore a good idea to go through our checklist. Then relax; the kids will be prepared when the rain falls, the wind howls or the sun shines.

Clothes for the shelf

Put some soft changes on the shelf such as:

Underwear
Socks (preferably non-slip)
Tights or sweatpants
Long-sleeved top
T-shirt
Sweater

Feel free to put a pair of each garment in the box, so you don’t need to update it as often.

Accessories for the shelf

Gloves, both a pair of thin cotton gloves and a pair that can withstand water
A cotton hat and a thicker hat
• Rain hat
Scarf or polo collar, which protects the neck from the wind

Outerwear for the hanger

Adapt the clothes to the weather and put this on the hanger:

Shell jacket and shell trousers or shell overalls. They can withstand water and wind, ventilate well and protect the baby's clothes from sand and dirt
Fleece jacket. Perfect for the layer-on-layer principle so that the child can quickly dress a little warmer if the cold strikes

Don’t forget!

Don’t forget to mark all the clothes, shoes and boots with your child’s name with a marker or name tag. Otherwise, they will easily get lost.

Feel free to choose soft clothes that are suitable for adventures outdoors and indoors, are easy to wash and can be dried in a drying cabinet. Villervalla's clothes are, for example, made of soft, organic or ÖKO-TEX®-certified cotton and keep their color and shape during many washes. This makes it easy to pass the garments on to siblings or friends when they are outgrown.
