How do I dress my child for the summer?

Summer! Sunshine one day, wind the next, rain the third… and then sunshine again. How on earth should the children's summer wardrobe look like? Here we have gathered our best tips so the kids can fully enjoy the summer.

Children in summer clothes

Checklist - Summer clothes for children

Thin, long-sleeved top and thin trousers provide comprehensive and comfortable protection. Children move a lot, and it’s nice with thin garments, which also gives freedom of movement

• Our soft cotton summer dresses are perfect for summer adventures

A cap or sun hat not only provides protection for the head from the sun, but also the eyes

Shorts and a T-shirt are comfortable to wear on hot days, but do not forget to put on sunscreen where the clothes doesn’t cover

• For colder days, the shell clothes are optimal. They are breathable, provide good protection against wind and are just thick enough. They are also comprehensive.

• Villervalla's soft hoodies can also do the job as warming garments when the temperature drops during the day

• Our comfortable cotton socks are perfectly warm enough to wear in sneakers

Rule of thumb: Stay in the shade as much as possible; it’s the best way to protect yourself from the sun's harmful rays. And do not forget the sunscreen!
